WHEN YOU ARRIVE
When you arrive at Lakeside, we have plenty of parking near the church with signs directing you where to go. We are located in a residential section of Kirkland (NW corner of 1st St and 7th Ave), so traffic is rarely an issue on Sunday mornings and afternoons, so you don’t need to stress out about finding a parking place!
WHEN YOU WALK IN
When you walk into Lakeside, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and receive a small bag with some goodies along with some information that may answer some questions you have about who we are. Feel free to walk down the hall to our coffee station for a great cup of coffee or tea before the service starts. If you have any questions when you arrive, just look for someone with a Lakeside name tag on their shirt and they’ll be more than ready to help you. There is a countdown clock on the big screen that will let you know how much time you have before the service starts so you won’t have to worry about the service starting without you while you grab that coffee.
WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?
After you have received your visitor bag, if you have children 0-5th Grade we have Lakeside|KIDS and/or a nursery for them to attend! It will be the best hour of their week in Lakeside|KIDS . To check them in simply make your way down to where the church offices are located. Once checked in, you can enjoy the morning worship. For young families, we have a few tables in the back of the sanctuary where kids can sit and draw (and it’s ok if they make a little noise, we’ve all been there). At the end of worship, you make your way back to the Lakeside|KIDS area to pick up your children. More information available by clicking HERE.
AFTER THE SERVICE
After the morning service is finished, we want to encourage you to stick around. Feel free to grab some more coffee/tea and maybe even a snack. If you would like to see more of the building, find a greeter with a name tag and they can show you around. If you have children, just follow the signs and pick them up downstairs. It is only fair to warn you that sometimes kids do not want to leave right away because they’re having such a good time, but that’s when you just remind them they can come back next week!
